IEA-NEA members are urged to contact their representatives either
voicing support for or opposition to proposed legislation. Use
the links below to locate the representative who represents your home
district.

go to the Illinois Government page. Here you will find names,
addresses, and phone numbers of all our state's legislators as well as
information about about current bills and other legislative facts.
Occasionally you
may wish to place phone calls, e-mail or write to your local legislator
in support of or in opposition to a bill or bills being considered. Below are two sample documents that may help you.
These are Word
documents written in 10 pt Arial type. Open the documents by clicking
on the links below. The letters will open in Microsoft Word. Once the
letters are open, you may change the documents. Just highlight the
areas where you want to add names, addresses, bill numbers etc. To make
it easier for you to see the areas that you may need to add or change
information, I have highlighted these areas with red ink.
